Pecan is the fruit bearing Hickory Tree, it produces a slightly sweet Hickory flavour, and is great with Beef, Ham, Pork, Chicken, Seafood.
Our Pecan wood is grown in Australia on an Organically certified  Pecan Nut Farm where no insect or nasty spraying is done. The wood has been naturally air dried to ensure it retains it’s natural Smoking flavour. All imported lightweight commercially bagged Pecan Chunks are force Kiln Dried, for fast drying and to satisfy Australian Quarantine requirements, resulting in a big loss of the wood’s natural flavour.

WOOD CHUNKS of varying diameters, supplied in breathable 2kg Hessian bag. Simply place Chunks next to hot coals and let them smolder to add some tasty smoke flavour to your cooks. Chop smaller if required.
