500g Reaper Chilli Cheese Wheel

500g Reaper Chilli Cheese Wheel – made for us by a unique local Dutch born Gouda Cheese Manufacturer that make small-batch cheeses from the finest quality local ingredients including farm-fresh milk from Gippsland. This is a custom batch of hand made authentic Dutch style firm but creamy Gouda Cheese with lots of fresh Hot Carolina Reaper Chilli bits, it has ‘fireworks’ inside.. The Wheel is dipped in protective wax to seal and preserve it, mature it in a cupboard for 3-6months, or Refrigerate for years.

We tasted this unique Hot cheese at a Chilli Festival, it was made as a one-off batch just for the Festival, but we talked them into making us a custom batch with DOUBLE the fresh Reaper Chilli bits!  It is not available anywhere else.

The Boss loves a cracker with a thin slice of Reaper Cheese and a pickle, with a couple drops of Smokey Hickory BBQ Sauce drizzled on top. For extra Heat, drip some Reaper Whiskey Chilli Sauce on top!

The Cheese Wheel has been matured for a few months, then sealed in wax. Eat it now, except for the wax, or mature it in the cupboard for even longer. To open it, slice the Wheel in half and cover the open faces with glad wrap to keep it from drying out, then store it in the fridge in a sealed container. Slice off what you want to eat and cut the wax off, then slice up and enjoy.
It pairs very well with Red wine. Taste for yourself how good Gouda cheese is.
